Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy

Evidence based • Active approach • Techniques to accelerate positive change

Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) is a brief-term, emotion focused therapy which aims to get to the root of emotional difficulties in as short a time-frame as possible to enable clients to overcome symptoms and reach their full potential.

ISTDP is an accelerated form of dynamic psychotherapy. It is an active approach which focuses on processing emotional blockages responsible for symptoms such as anxiety, depression and relationship difficulties.

This method of psychotherapy is practiced internationally and has an impressive evidence base. More than forty published research studies show this approach to be highly effective for a broad spectrum of patients, with benefits that continue and increase in long-term follow-up.
